Humanities Texas’ Holiday Book Fair
Each December, Humanities Texas holds its Holiday Book Fair at the Byrne-Reed House. Shoppers have the opportunity to meet accomplished Texas authors and buy signed copies of their books. Proceeds support worthy humanities-related causes in Texas.

San Antonio Book Festival
Celebrate all that is wonderful about the printed word. This free day of literary happenings will offer book-lovers of every age up-close encounters with over 70 of their favorite national, regional and local authors at presentations, panel discussions and signings. Special tents will feature a variety of food, demonstrations by cookbook authors and musical entertainment. Story telling, interactive and bi-lingual activities and fun art projects will be offered for kids and the whole family.
